This compact wireless printer makes it easy to print beautiful 4" X 6" And 5" X 7" Photos that will last up to 200 years this Epson printer is designed for use with only genuine Epson-brand cartridges. Other brands of ink cartridges and ink supplies are not compatible and, even if described as Compatible, may not function properly or at all. Epson provides information about the design of the printer on the box and in many other locations and materials Included with the printer and on the website. epson periodically provides firmware updates to address issues of security, performance, minor bug fixes and ensure the printer functions as designed. This printer was designed to work only with genuine Epson ink cartridges and some updates may affect the functionality of third party ink. Review: Easy Set Up and Nice Picture Quality! - I just set up this printer and it's awesome! The only setback is that it's kind of challenging to print from a macbook, which is probably because I want to print two photos on one 4x6 page, but I'm using the Project Life app and it works pretty well. The instructions were easy to follow and the picture quality is really good. I'm very happy with this purchase! I've owned printers by three other companies and none of them were as easy to get started with as this one has been.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Does this require special paper like the cannon selphy printers or will any 4x6 photo paper work?**
A: This printed just fine on my 4x6 envelope with normal weighted paper.
I used the Canon 4x6 400 pack (large red box) for $20 for our Photo Booth (@RendezVooth) and its just fine. Set the setting to Glossy.

There is a marginal increase in quality with super high quality epson or even luster or matte paper but you’ll be pixel peeping at that point.

**Q: What is a  "memory card" why does this printer require one, and is it not noted in the description?**
A: It is referring to the SD card to be used to print your pictures from. I use the SD Card in my Nikon D300s camera when I shoot pictures and then I insert the SD Card into the slot on the Epson printer and select which pictures I want to print. The printer does not require a Memory card to function except when you are pulling a picture from the SD Card. I hope this makes sense to you.

**Q: Is the quality comparison to a basic hp All in one printer**
A: No, this printer is much better photo quality than my Epson WF-3640. The photos are better than Walmart prints, too.

**Q: How long does the starter ink cartridge last? Or about how many photos?**
A: I got slightly over 100 4 x 6 prints using the highest quality setting.  This use more ink and takes considerably longer to print, but the photo looks so much better that it is worth it for me. 

Note however, that I print in spurts.  I literally will use up one full cartridge of ink in one sitting.  I'm sure the number of prints will reduce (not sure by how many) if I were to spread the printing across a 6-12 months period.

The only setback is that it's kind of challenging to print from a macbook, which is probably because I want to print two photos on one 4x6 page, but I'm using the Project Life app and it works pretty well. The instructions were easy to follow and the picture quality is really good. I'm very happy with this purchase! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Printer DELIVERED!!!

I was shooting an event info ever year for a client where they have me print portraits of attendees to give out as party favors at the end of the event. In previous years I used a HITI printer but it died in me in the middle of my 3rd time using it. And it was just out of warranty. As big as it was it was going to cost $75 just to ship it to CA to get diagnosed which means even more $ to fix. After spending over $600 to purchase it I determined $200 per event before it breaks is not worth it. Did my research and this little printer kept coming up and was even suggested by B&H AND Adorama. Waited for Black Friday to get it on sale which I did and felt like I won a mini lottery. This printer was SO simple to set up and test printing where I barely needed to go through the instructions. I had absolutely ZERO issues with it at the event except that I wish the ink cartridge lasted longer. I had to switch cartridges just at the end which means I have a 95% cartridge sitting in it now with little need to print until the next years event. Looks like I will need to find images to print as it recommends not letting it sit for more than 6 months. What I did print at the event met the expectations as far as quality and attendees were so excited and thankful to get their portraits at the end of the party. Now I won’t be dreading this event with the printing that comes with it!
