Little Sleepy Head Toddler Pillowcase 13 x 18-100% Cotton & Hypoallergenic (Space)

This is a special pillow designed not to hurt your eyes. Or at least that's what I told my 3 year old son who insisted that his pillow pet (and just about every other thing that exists in this world) was "hurting his eyes". These daily complaints were usually accompanied by whiny screeches while frantically rubbing his eyes and stomping his feet like there were fire ants inside scratching his eyeballs out. Seriously. But with this new pillow that doesn't hurt eyes (I might have told him it said that on the package but he can't read yet so it's okay), he now has no complaints at nap time. In fact since this pillow he has consistently slept through the night, wakes up dry and cheery, happily makes his own bed, gets me my morning coffee, and has started taking advanced placement courses in both math and language arts. He even started eating veggies and putting his own laundry away.

I am sorry but I don't understand how anyone could review this pillowcase above 1 star, unless I was sent the wrong one. The fabric on this pillowcase is unbelievably rough. I wouldn't even let my cat sleep on it, let alone my child. I washed it twice hoping to soft it up, but no luck. The corners of this pillowcase are actually a safety concern. Exactly zero people would buy this pillowcase, if given the opportunity to feel it before buying, especially at this price. I am convinced I got the wrong case. Mind you - this is my first ever negative review.

**UPDATED AFTER 10 MONTHS' USE**Original Post:Love the dinosaur design. My kid gets a kick out of his new pillow. One star taken off because he "tried" it before I could get it into the wash and it left a little rash on his face. But no problems since we've washed it.We have the dinosaur and turtle pillow and they're super cute! They don't match any decor that I could imagine, but we wanted something we could get the kiddo to use rather than something aesthetically appealing.UPDATED POST:After 10 months' use, the colors are still beautifully vibrant. The case has held up fantastically to wash (warm cycle) and dryer (low heat). No other rash issues have occurred. Still only 4 stars because it's not the softest pillow case, but that doesn't seem to bother my kid at all. I'm probably overly picky about sheets in any event.

Really cute! My four year old son loves this pillow case cover. Fits his toddler size pillow perfectly. It opened in the middle on the backside where there is an opening to get the pillow in, so there are no zippers or anything a little one could get hurt on. The design is adorable. After washing, it is super soft and shrunk just enough for a perfect fit on the pillow insert. The only reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 is that it's a little overpriced. I love this little Pillow case that fits my Down 13 x 18 inch Toddler Pillow. I am in my 80's and I have pain in my hips and have a very hard time sleeping at night. I bought a toddler pillow to put between my knees for comfort and this little Pillow case is wonderful. They have designed this pillow case so the pillow will not work it's way out! I love that feature.The fabric is high quality and does not shrink.The only thing I did not care about was the choice of fabric designs they offer. The one I ended up having to choose was quirky little houses and cars with a white background. I do wish they would have had a pretty floral or even bright, solid colors. But I keep it out of sight so I guess it is ok. But I will be watching this site for a nicer design for a lady in her 80's. But I do love, love, love the design of how it fits the pillow so perfect and absolutely does not work it's way off the pillow.Another thing I might add is that the seams that they have on the back of the pillow case where you insert the pillow is sewed so nice that you don't even feel them on your knees when sleeping! The fabric is nice and soft and very comfortable. This little pillow case makes the Down Pillow 100 % successful for that use! Thank you! Such a great job, well done!

I read a lot of reviews saying that this was the absolute best toddler pillow. I'm not sure exactly how one rates a pillow's efficacy for toddlers. And pillow preference seems to be personal anyway. So aside from sleeping posture and comfort I'll rate what I can.The pros: It's small in size so that my kid can move it around during the night and stay comfy. The pillow is pretty breathable so she's never sweaty in the morning, and after a few months, it's mostly kept its shape well.The cons: It is pretty flat. I think that was the intent, but I have noticed that my kid uses the pillow and something else to get the head elevation she wants. She'd also just as happily sleep on her teddy bear vs. the pillow. I don't know if that speaks more to the quality of the teddy bear or the pillow.Summary: It's a reasonably good pillow. I'm not sure I would go so far as to say that it's the best pillow for toddlers, but it works and seems to do most of the things it advertises.

Ugh... I clearly did not read the description correctly when I purchased this as its the PILLOWCASE ONLY. I think for the price I assumed the pillow was included, but I am indeed mistaken. If you buy the pillow from the same company you will be spending $70+ on a 13x18 pillow. Absurd if you ask me!The pillowcase is excellent, my son takes his pillow to daycare with him and gets compliments from other kids and parents asking where its from. Its been through the wash many many times and still looks the same, no fading, no pulled threads, just some wrinkles which my steam iron easily takes care of.Product is 5 star quality, but I am giving it 3 stars because I think the price is too high. There are comparable alternatives for much cheaper, I bought this because I wanted the pattern. I also paid the crazy price because I didn't read the description correctly.Pros:- Fun pattern for little kids- Very durableCons:- Crazy expensive for just a pillowcase given its tiny size

I purchased this Utopia collection pillow case and sleepy head toddler pillow after reading the descriptions tons of times and reviews both from .com and ca. When I received the items, I let my 2 year old try it but nope, he doesn’t want to sleep on it, now, my son is used to sleeping on a folded blanket and using that as a pillow, so he is used to the blanket soft material, he preferred the blanket over the pillow. Now, I think there is no problem with the pillow case, the problem is what I have expected when I see 100% cotton, most of us would say, it must be soft coz it’s cotton, it is definitely soft as a cotton but not as soft as what I had in mind, and description says it will be become softer as time goes by and with each wash! I cannot wait for that long and how can I wash it if my son doesn’t use it?! So I ended up returning the pillowcase and kept the pillow because [drum roll please] I found out that there is the Cuddle Collection which is 100% polyester and blanket like soft material!!! Order 2 under the Cuddle collection, when I received the pillow case, I washed it and let my son used it,swapping it With the folded blanket when he was asleep and he didn’t even noticed,used the pillow with the cuddle collection pillow case for 2 months now and I am so happy with this tandem.And did I also mention that they have a superb costumer service?! I was in contact with them before I made the purchase coz the pillow case wasn’t available at Amazon.ca that time and Chris(owner) answered all my question. And when I had a problem, he also helped me find a solution that I am even so surprised that he was willing to do it.Overall, the product might not be perfect and might not be what I expected at first, but because there was another option(the Cuddle collection) and the company stand behind their product and take care of their costumers,I am one happy, satisfied and impressed momma!
