I had it plugged in and it just stopped** A: Same here. Purchased 12/30/21 and is now "dead" in that the lights only stay on. No way to turn them off or change their color or any control. White adapter is the issue as I replaced the button battery in the remote with a new one, and the remote is sending out IR just fine with button pushes. Is returning to Amazon the only support option? **Q: Does this contain lead?** A: The solder used to attach the LED's and resisters on these strips contains lead. The amount of lead in the solder is unknown, but if it's a significant concern, contact the manufacturer for the MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet) for the solder used. Lead-free solders are expensive and uncommon in applications like this.
