Review: Didn't last long and didn't work very well. - I bought these from desertcart in mid 2021 and used them sporadically for a while until I put them aside. I did find that they worked at the range to mitigate the noise, but didn't seem to amplify the voices of people I was trying to speak with very well. I put them aside because of my frustrations with getting them to work the way I wanted... understand conversations with other folks when at the range. About a 2 months ago I decided to try them again. DOA - they would not charge. So basically they are an expensive pair of ear plugs. I did email walker and got NO response. I ended up buying a pair of range earmuffs from another company which do allow me to have normal conversations with others at the range and work the way I was expecting the Walkers to work. Lessons learned; I will never again buy anything that has non-replaceable batteries and will return immediately if I'm not happy with an item.

**Q: Will these block high pitched, sudden noises like children screeching, red neck whistling and women cheering? These sudden noises give me migraines.**
A: Boy, I don't know about that redneck whistling. That there is pretty annoying. If you put the earplugs in and leave them off or turn the volume way down, then they act like regular foam earplugs. And will block or at least attenuate those sounds. If you turn the volume up so you can hear regularly, then those sounds will probably be audible.. Next time I am out with some whistlin' rednecks or screechin' children or cheerin' women folk, I'll be sure to check it out.

**Q: Do they work well when wearing a stocking hat or facemask over them?**
A: no - they don't work period.  I bought 2 and return both of them

**Q: What is the difference between the silencer bt 2.0 and the silencer ?**
A: About $100... The Silencer BT 2.0 is the latest technology product from Walkers, include Bluetooth capability, longer battery life and are rechargeable, app (Smartphone) controls.

**Q: Im confused on what model i will receive. will it be the gwp-slcr2-bt in the picture, or the gwp-slcrrc2 in the description? (which are rubber)**
A: These model is the one without Bluetooth, and it is like the one you see on the picture.

### ⭐ These are absolutely horrible

I only gave one star because I can't give less. I purchased two pairs for my shooting buddy and myself. Both sets experienced the exact same issues. First, the ear buds did not charge properly the first time, We had the ear buds in the case and the case plugged in for over 24 hours. The ear buds on one set died within one hour and the second set did not turn on at all. Secondly, the description indicates that these have three different modes, however, the owners manual does not describe how to change the mode and no matter how much we swiped tapped and such, we could not get them to change mode. Lastly, the voice enhancement was non-existent. Sounds around us such as the wind was absolutely enhanced to an ear blowing level, but, ALL voices were cut out and we would have been better offs having foam ear plugs in.
