Just received the item. Initial impression- well made product and compact.NOTE- this cube power extension lead is rated 10Amp as opposed to standard 13Amp. Product description on Amazon doesn't include this information

Had this under a year and started to smell burning coming from the unit. I checked the label and it says 10A max load, checked the plug and it's got a 13A fuse in it. Accident waiting to happen.Update: I've taken it apart, you can see the burning around the USB port. I think we were lucky.

This item looked perfect to meet my needs, neat and small. But having had it for a few weeks now I can confirm it is extremely difficult to put a plug in or take out, meaning I don't use it for this, the USB charging points are useful though. If you are looking for an extension lead buy an alternative product, I found this aspect a disappointment.

A neat size and seems good quality from exteriors, but the USB ports won't even power a 0.5m led strip without turning off every few minutes ( I tried several thinking the first led strip was faulty, but they all only have this issue with this extension lead), won't charge shaver on USB or power a very small bank. The USB ports simply don't work very well, to the point that if your buying this for the USB ports, simply look elsewhere. The stress this thing has caused is immense and I really regret buying it.

What a great 4-way extension. So much more compact than a standard, linear extension with the added advantage of 3 USB charging ports.It’s extremely well designed and well made with a good sturdy plug and a high quality cable. The four mains sockets all face in the same direction and the faces of the cube are big enough to accommodate bulky adapter plugs. So, no tangled cables.Having the USB ports on the top of the cube makes attaching and removing cables simple.My only issue, and it isn’t a huge one, is that the power switch operates on all four sockets simultaneously, so you need to be careful that you don’t witch off an active socket.I’m so impressed with this extension, I’ve purchased another one.

Bear in mind the actual lead for this is only about a metre long so you’re not getting much extension, this is intended more for the amount of plugs than the length so I was disappointed but could be my fault for not reading the description properly beforehand - oops!

A perfect little extention lead for my tiny little bedroom. It fits perfectly on my ikea top or on the floor behind it. I mostly use the USB charging ports for my phone and my watch. As it isn't bulky it doesn't take up too much room which is perfect for a small room.The handy little button on the top which also lights up means I never forget to switch it off. Very handy. Would highly recommend it!

This device seems to work fine now but it does have issues when you plug additional devices in when turned on. i.e. It gives some very nasty electrical sounds. Just be careful everyone.
