But they are. I got a ziploc bag with 100 pieces, so I was expecting to have to glue the lid shut, but you don't have to do that. They not only stay shut when the attached lid is snapped on the tube, it maintains a water-tight seal, even when opened and re-closed several times. The tube contains molded graduation marks for volume measurement on one side.
