## Questions & Answers

**Q: Do you have to clean all the old rust off ?**
A: We have a big bench vise that's outside. Didn't realize the "help" installed it outside and of course it started to rust immediately.  I spray it down pretty heavy and ext time zi saw it some shiny parts wre shining again. Some rust remained. Now I spray it once or twice a year. Takes 30 seconds or less of spray and it's looking good 6 years later. That's it.

**Q: Do I need to clean the under carriage at all? Do I need any sprayer or just use this can and spray? I read it needs to be applied at certain psi**
A: I would recommend pressure washing under carriage and let it dry thoroughly. Just use the aerosol can to spray it on. You only need a sprayerIf you buy it in bulk like the one gallon can.

**Q: does anyone know how often I have to apply this to the underside of my car? I live in California .thanks**
A: In New England, we apply oil treatments to the underside of our vehicles once a year. Fluid Film adheres better than oil -so I wouldn't expect it to be any more than that

**Q: Has anyone tried spraying this on any magnetos, to weatherize them? Had to REALLY clean my Bolens rider magneto this Spring to get it to run.**
A: hi michael, bill here. i sell the fluid film but have NO idea about magnetos. i do know that if you spray battery terminals before hooking up the cabels you will not get a connection. you have to spray after hooking up the cabels. i would suggest that you contact fluid film. my only contact is thru their sales office but that should ge you a good start. here's their contact info Bob Smith, Kellsport Products, www.fluidfilmsales.com, T: 888-341-4600

Fluid Film has become one of my go-to products for protecting my Jeep Wrangler from rust and corrosion. I use it regularly on the undercarriage, skid plates, suspension components, hinges, and other exposed metal parts, especially before winter and after off-road trips. Living with road salt, mud, water crossings, and trail debris can really take a toll on a Jeep, and this product helps create a protective barrier that actually lasts. The aerosol can makes it easy to spray into hard-to-reach areas, and it applies evenly without a complicated setup. I also appreciate that it creeps into seams and tight spaces where rust likes to start. It has helped slow down corrosion on older components and keeps newer parts looking much better over time. Unlike some products, it doesn’t dry out and crack quickly. I’ve used it after washing my Jeep and before winter storage with great results.
