**Q: where is the glass made**
A: I highly doubt they're made in the U.S., as the description says they're TESTED in the U.S....probably made overseas, dang it.

**Q: Has anyone else had their pebbles crack?  One of my four pebbles cracked clean through in a saurkraut ferment that was sitting on the top of my fridg**
A: Yes! Three out of eight of mine cracked! One left very sharp and pointed 1" shard of glass in my sauerkraut. Another broke in two in fermentation jar but could not find any small fragments - still, I threw away batch to be sure. One broke in dishwasher - I hand-washed the others. These are unsafe and product should definitely be recalled!

A: All glass is food grade.  Lead is not used in glass making anymore.

**Q: How much does each weigh?**
A: I weighed two, one was 70grams, the other 74 grams. In ounces, 2.5 and2.6.

I love these little dudes! I make small batches of sauerkraut and these keep the cabbage weighted down well with few, if any, escapees. I have not had a bad batch since starting to use them - and easier for me to keep an eye on batch process vs using a cabbage leaf to submerge. Worth the investment!
