Great for what it is
I got this for my son as a backup up practice tool since he has to move his trumpet between two homes and school to help make things easier. Its actually a solid little kit. Its not the most amazing sounding trumpet in the world but for the cost and what it is its kind of amazing. It sounds fine really ( I admit I dont have the best ear in the world) and I love how light it is. Glad I got it and for the cost I am not worried if it gets damaged.

Sound like it fell out of a box of cereal
I spent $60.00 on this thinking I got a great deal. No. This is exactly what you'd think a plastic trumpet would sound like. You'd probably disappoint any child you give this too.

Fun Novelty!
This is a pretty fun little novelty. No...it does not sound like my vintage Bach Stradivarius, but it's not meant to. It's basically a plastic tube with valves. The valves on this trumpet are sticky, but a little valve oil rubbed directly on the valves helped a ton. The plastic mouthpieces (2) that come with this trumpet are horrible, but it will accommodate a traditional mouthpiece. The mouthpiece receptor is VERY rough and WILL scratch the shank of your mouthpiece. Because I use this plastic trumpet for "fun" vs. performance, I use a cheap mouthpiece with the Pampet vs. my daily, more expensive mouthpiece. It has been fun switching back and forth between my Bach and the Pampet to see how clear and close I can get the sounds. It's a good challenge for any good trumpet player and for $60 it was a fun toy to get! I might even try practicing in the shower! Ha Ha!!

It's a plastic trumpet that works but...
It works as expected but, being 100% plastic (other than springs) the tone quality is not great. Having played for many years and getting this as a Christmas present to my nefew who is 8 (who has never played), for the price it was worth it for him. I tested it out to see if it was worth giving him and it just doesn't sound like a brass horn. It's very light and can be played but would not recommend for a professional. But as a functional toy I'd say it's a start for something that could be a cheap foundation to something better in the future.

Apsolutly love this trumpet
First I'd like to say I have never played a trumpet in my life but I have to say from the many YouTube reviews this is a perfect beginner & great practice trumpet 🎺 for non beginners. The appearance is great many different colors to choose from sound quality is great excellent value for the money and being plastic is great because you can have it out. In my experience with my guitar 🎸 the more you have out and available the more you will constantly play it. A definite must buy 👌

Beginner friendly. Great sound and quality. Carry case and extra parts. 10/10.
Plays just like his metal trumpet, beyond durable. My 8 year old plays it. He uses it for practice and music class and when he wants to take it overnight somewhere. Sleek black color. Two mouthpieces. Great sound quality. Perfectly functional right out the box. And again my 8 year old uses it so it’s easy to use if you’re a beginner. And it comes with its own carry case and has additional back up parts.
