Before using the product there were many weeds visible at the surface of the water. After about a few days there were no visible weeds at the surface where we sprayed. We treated our pond a few times (with a week in between applications as directed). We used a pond rake to get the dead weeds out (ones that we could). It also worked well for above the surface weeds.
