It has a wall-mount that allows you to mount direct to a flat surface, or you can grab some worm clamps to mount it to a pole. It must be mounted upright and with the plastic wire guard it comes with, or the ports may be exposed direct to the weather. **Q: Can this be used outdoor and to power 4 unifi g4 pro cameras** A: It should, I have it powering (1) G4 Pro (2) G3 Flex and (1) AP-AC-mesh AP using this POE injector - POE-50-60W Might want to double check on total power it can provide and compare to the G4 Pro's requirements **Q: Is this a standalone switch or does it need programming through unifi controller? i just need to power cams (non unifi)** A: It is much easier to deal with if you use the Unifi controller and program which ports have PoE, etc. if you want a stand-alone switch with PoE that will work out of the box, I recommend the USW-8-60 (4 PoE ports), or the USW-8-150 (8 PoE ports and option for fiber uplink).
