I weighed a 6"x6" plastic square that is approx 3.5oz in weight and placed it on the brick part of my house. Once adheard I did find I had to 'nudge' it a bit to remove. I did not see any slippage and it held tight. The only thing is that when the adhesive gets wet its virtually useless so I would not use this outside.
