The cups fit perfectly in their little cubby holes and are a really great size even for a large number of beads. I can easily fit a whole gross (144) of 6mm rounds in a single cup. The dimensions of the cups are such that the lid closes very snugly against the top of the cup sealing them very well (even small findings and jump rings stay in their cups). The lid snaps securely shut and is not prone to opening up by itself at all.I did have a few issues with the box: 1) If I only have a few beads of a particular color or even a large number of very small beads I end up wasting a lot of space. 2) I admit I'm partly to blame for this one, but I opened up the box right away after receiving it (during the winter). It was very cold, and in the process of opening it, it developed small cracks in the weakest joints. 3) All the cups are exactly the same size, none are larger or smaller, therefore any odd sized beads or materials (like headpins) don't fit well (or at all).All in all it's a really good box (though the price leaves a little to be desired - yes that is $9 S/H per box with no discounts for a multiple box purchase) and if you have the cash and regular-sized/shaped beads it works very well. The only real concern I have is that the plastic is almost too tough. It's so tough that it tends to be a bit brittle.For taking my beads on the road, I've found that this box is a little large and inefficient.
