Review: Works as well as the original - I don't detect any difference in quality between these needles and the ones that came with the Coravin. Recommended. Review: It fits and works - I was hoping it would solve the issue of the slow flow. And it did. A new head on it, I think the other one was just dull and did'nt go into the bottle with ease, and removing was ridiculously hard. Now both ways work smooth and the flow is more like it was when it was new. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B072LX7WPN | | Best Sellers Rank | #6,416 in Kitchen ( See Top 100 in Kitchen ) #55 in Wine Pourers | | Brand | Coravin | | Brand Name | Coravin | | Color | Gold | | Colour | Gold | | Customer Reviews | 4.5 out of 5 stars 51 Reviews | | Finish Types | Polished | | Finish type | Polished | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00858976004993 | | Is Customizable? | No | | Item Dimensions L x W | 20L x 20W millimeters | | Item Form | needle-shaped | | Item Type Name | Premium Needle | | Item Weight | 10 Grams | | Item weight | 10 Grams | | Manufacture Year | 2017 | | Manufacturer | Xilence | | Manufacturer Part Number | 800012 | | Material | Stainless Steel | | Material Type | Stainless Steel | | Model Number | 800012 | | Mounting Type | It is designed to pierce through | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Packs | 1 | | Recommended Uses For Product | Wine preservation and pouring with Coravin Timeless system | | Special Features | Premium Needle with smoother pour and multi-hole design | | UPC | 858976004993 | | Unit Count | 1 Count | ## Product Details - **Material:** Stainless Steel - **Colour:** Gold - **Finish type:** Polished - **Brand:** Coravin - **Item weight:** 10 Grams ## Images ![Coravin New Premium Wine Pour Needle - Allows for a Smoother Pour | Stainless Steel & Non-Stick Coating - Black - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51Ugn3rCC2L.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Size** options. ## Questions & Answers **Q: are directions included with the needle?** A: I believe so but it is pretty intuitive. You screw the needle into the obvious place on the Coravin **Q: What's the difference vs the standar one?** A: The Premium Needle pours faster, I estimate maybe 1.5 times faster. It makes a difference if you're pouring multiple glasses, or a carafe. **Q: This product is "coravin wine preservation system premium wine replacement needles." how many needles? if it is one needle, why is the price $69 ?** A: It is one needle and I agree the price is pretty high. However, this needle is premium quality. It is very thin and yet provides excellent flow. There are a bunch of unbelievably tiny holes in it that allow for good flow. I bought one and have been using it virtually daily for about two years. If you are drinking average wines and finishing the bottles within a month or so, the premium needle may not be for you. The standard needle will serve you well. Truth be told, I could have gotten along fine with the standard needle as I rarely drink premium wines and rarely keep a partial bottle longer than a month. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works as well as the original *by M***Y on 3 September 2025* I don't detect any difference in quality between these needles and the ones that came with the Coravin. Recommended. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ It fits and works *by K***E on 22 July 2024* I was hoping it would solve the issue of the slow flow. And it did. A new head on it, I think the other one was just dull and did'nt go into the bottle with ease, and removing was ridiculously hard. Now both ways work smooth and the flow is more like it was when it was new. ### ⭐⭐ Failed after 3 months, just like the original *by R***Y on 15 June 2021* I ordered this to replace the bent needle in my model 6. This one too bent, after 3 months. My main objection is that $70 is an outrageous price for a component that will eventually fail. $20 would be more reasonable. ## Frequently Bought Together - Coravin Timeless Premium Needle - Preserve Wine for Years - Timeless Needle Replacement for Timeless Wine Preservation System - for by-The-Glass Wine Saver - Premium Gift for Wine Lovers - Coravin Argon Capsules - Patented Cap & Seal Technology - 6 Pack - Coravin Premium Pedestal Base - to Hold Timeless Pivot Wine by The Glass Systems --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.bo/products/278076254-coravin-new-premium-wine-pour-needle-allows-for-a-smoother](https://www.desertcart.bo/products/278076254-coravin-new-premium-wine-pour-needle-allows-for-a-smoother) --- *Product available on Desertcart Bolivia* *Store origin: BO* *Last updated: 2026-10-01*
