I use these in my cloth masks that have a slot to slip them into. I find they prevent the smells from perfumed items such as fabric softener, detergent and scented candles from bothering me as much in stores. I originally purposed them for use during COVID pandemic but found my allergies are less bothersome when used outside especially if neighbors are cutting grass, ragweed in bloom, etc.,. Second time I purchased. Fair price for amount received. Maybe not best but useful.

Works very well at keeping germs and fragrances out.

I noticed that the filters seem a tad bit smaller ( they don't fill the mask up quite as before). They also seem thinner less fiberous.

Carbon filters help a lot and are old as the egyptians and probably older. Just make sure they fit in your mask. They're not a replacement for filters that stop VOC's etc. like when you're painting but they do help get a lot of the normal odors out of the air so what else are they blocking and am I not breathing? I really don't care but I'm glad the particles aren't going in to my lungs for the most part.

They are better than nothing as an added filter inserted into a cloth mask for protection against the COVID-19 virus. And they work well as added protection from dust, smoke, and other pollutants. However, it is better to buy and use KN95 masks instead for protection against the COVID-19 virus.

I use these in the cloth masks but I have had made. It makes me feel much more secure than just the layers of fabric.
