Applied and left one for around 8-ish hours and it's a beautiful almost natural gray. As it fades, it continues to look a natural tone instead of blues, yellows, or purples that others fade to. Like ALL grey tones, it does fade after a few weeks but I'm topping up on color to keep in conditioner and for reapplication. It leaves hair soft and well-conditioned with no harsh chemicals.
