Just be careful to place and remove without scraping the fabric. **Q: Would these hold up on doors?** A: The Maximum opening mouth is 2 inch, if your door is thiner then 2 inch ,it may works. **Q: How difficult are these to squeeze open? Can it be done with one hand?** A: They are easily opened, I only use one hand with them. They are lightweight. I use them to hold leather together while I glue the edges together before I sew them.
