Review: High quality Lego branded - My son is 7 years old and in first grade. He loves to build things, especially with Lego blocks. He loves this backpack. This is the second year in a row we have used one. High quality material, official Lego. It is washable. This will definitely last more than one school year and still be in great shape. We have two, one is two years old and still in wonderful condition from being used as a backpack the first year and now a backpack to carry his Lego blocks places. Zipper is great quality and no issues getting stuck. It is plenty big enough to carry a lot of things. My son says the straps are comfortable and they do have slight padding and a buckle to go across the chest to keep it in the right position. Functions well. My only issue is always having to tighten the straps at least once a week.

A: No, unfortunately not.  The bottom is the same material as the rest of the bag.   It is not made with any double layer material at the bottom.

**Q: Does this backpack fit a binder?**
A: Yes.  I've fit my mac in the inside pocket as well as other stuff. Its pretty roomie

**Q: Where is this made in, and is it suitable for a rising 2nd grader?**
A: Good Material. My son used it for 1st and 2nd grade

A: it was the perfect size for my 7 year old last year in 2nd grade.  He still loves it and wants to use it again this year.  I think it probably would have worked at 5 as well.
