We live on a lake and have many people (& lots kids of all ages) in / out of our house all summer long. We noticed that our liquor bottles were getting nearly empty and no one had an answer as to why, so after some research online and some minor fitting the StealthLock was installed and the missing liquids has ceased to be an issue.Pros: Installs as advertised. Following the directions provided, it was installed and working properly in 30-45 minutes. The prep work was a little more detailed. We have a split door liquor cabinet. (if you have a single door cabinet, skip this, installation will be very simple). On the left door I installed a simple bolt latch on the inside bottom edge. The right door where the StealthLock was installed, I added a matching board (purchased at Menards) mounted 4" off center for the right cabinet door. The StealthLock was quickly and easily mounted to that board without issue and worked as advertised out of the box.Cons: 1.) Expensive - $135.00 for lock & remote was not what I was expecting to pay to get a locking liquor cabinet. (2) The programming of the SteathLock was not as simple as advertised. It can be done, but it will take some study and attention to detail to get your new admin codes & user codes set up & working properly. (3) The remote requires close proximity to the SteathLock and once the code is entered, you hold the unlock / lock button for 1-2 seconds before the lock releases / engages. It took a little getting use to, but this StealthLock did solve our issue of missing expensive liquids.We have aprox. two months of use on this first StealthLock, love it, no issues & feel comfortable leaving home knowing that our liquid valuables will be safe. They would have to destroy the cabinet to get inside now :).

This is an outstanding product. we looked for months to find a hidden cabinet door lock but all of them required electrical power. This one is battery powered and works great. The installation tool is ingenious and easily aligns the door and cabinet portions of the lock so installation was a breeze. Once installed this lock is flush to side of cabinet so does not at all inhibit access and its operation is excellent. The remote indicates when batteries die and if they die before being replaced and door is locked the lock automatically unlocks. For daily door open and close operations the lock is not locked, only locks when commanded by remote to do so. I highly recommend it.

I am so happy that i was lucky enough to stumble upon this product on Amazon. I never even knew something like this existed to look for it. I put it on the inside of my desk drawer where I keep firearms. It is so nice how you can fit this on just about anything. In my case I put it on the side of the drawer by the roller track.It is great because not only is it secure, but you can hide the remote and keep the combination secret. This provides 3 layers of protection keeping my kids away from my guns yet is quick and easy for me to access.It is not a replacement for a safe as I am sure my wooden desk drawer could be easily pried open if someone really wanted to, but it is great for a situation like mine with toddlers in the house.

This lock does exactly what it says it will do-- prevent unwanted access to cabinets by locking the cabinet door. We purchased this in order to secure disappearing liquor. Installation was easy, though I recommend reading through the whole set of instructions before beginning the installation. I especially liked how the manufacturer made strike plate alignment a snap with the use of adhesive mounting tape. The remote was easy to program and it works fine-- admittedly, we've had the lock for less than a week. Would I stash cash or other valuables behind this lock? No, but it's great for protecting consumables from nefarious interlopers.The inner wall of our cabinets is not flush with the opening, so I fashioned a spacer/support of the needed thickness (1-1/8") out of a painted piece of 1X4 and two this strips of thin plywood. The lock now fits tightly against the cabinet wall; I slotted the back of the spacer and it hangs off of two of the cabinet's adjustable shelf pegs. I mounted the lock to that spacer, and it's as secure as screwing it into the actual cabinet.

When I installed this lock on a hidden bookcase, the very weak catch for the latch broke as I opened the door, prior to even attempting to lock it. The open latch was to strong on it's own. I contacted the company and sent pictures, but they advised me that it is a "break away" lock in case the batteries died". I argued that a lock that is made to break when stressed is not a "lock". Also that it breaks with only the pressure of the latch (not locked). The refused my refund and ended all communications.

Used for a hidden room application and product works great. It compact size allowed it to fit in a very small area and has been working flawlessly so far. A bit pricey but seems to be very well made not the cheap plastic low cost alternatives. I guess you get what you pay for.

It does not consistently lock and unlock. If you need the contents in an emergency, don't use this lock. I tried to adjust it with no success..Even with the cabinet open, I can't get it to operate properly.

Quality product. Easy to install and program. Use it on a cabinet in my rental unit where we wanted cabinet to look speak without exterior lock.
