Q: Are these bags FDA Approved and BPA Free? Are they suitable for microwaving, boiling or sous vide cooking?

I'm not sure about FDA Approved, but they are BPA free. They are designed for Sous Vide and should be fine in boiling water. I wouldn't recommend use in a microwave as the temperature could easily get high enough to melt the plastic, and even with no air in the pouch some foods will produce enough gas or water vapor to inflate the pouch enough to risk exploding.

Q: Will these bags work with the Weston Pro-2300? Weston changed their bags two yrs ago and the new style aren't holding a seal for me.

NO they are for chambers, not sealers

Q: I want a sealer that i can use for spices, would this work?

yes i have sealed spices and stored them in the freezer or refrigerator. you have to check the bags after a couple of days as sometimes they get a pinhole in them and lose their seal. but overall they work great

Q: Will these work with a FoodSaver vacuum sealer?

Not very well, if at all. The FoodSaver requires a strip of crinkled material inside the bag to allow the air to be pulled out by the vacuum through the gasket that pinches the bag. The VacMaster bags do not have this crinkled material because there is no pinch gasket in a canister sealer. With the FoodSaver, the air in the bag may not be fully evacuated during the sealing cycle with these bags. This is why the VacMaster bags are less expensive.
