Impossible to start
I had owned one of these for years and liked it, but it eventually broke down. The new one is impossible to start. When it was brand new, it took me a while, but it eventually started. I sat idle for a few months, and I tried again. Damn near impossible to start, but finally, after about an hour, it started. 2 weeks later, I can't get it started. It is not the gasoline or spark plug, this machine is just a piece of crap. Going to try to return it.

Great little chipper!
This is great. I have used this to chip leaves, pine needles and small branches on our land for months and it still runs and chips great. It was worth every penny. I recommend this product to my family and friends.

Not good! Keep Looking!
Just rebuilt every single part in this same exact chipper, except it was 305cc (more powerful). If you are ready to break your back, this is the chipper for you. The feed is terrible on both input sides (leaves/small branches and large wood feeder). You literally have to push items in there as hard as you can most the time, the chutes are not designed properly, so they get hung-up constantly before your materials even make it to the blades. Lastly, the chipper and mulcher sides have poor engineering designs, resulting in significantly increased demand on the engine. My engine cracked completely open, with an extremely small demand on the machine (I was actually using the small branch/leaves side). Lastly, the claim of it accepting 3" in diameter is a joke. Every now and then, it will take a branch that size, but you will have to shove down the throat so hard, you risk danger to your hands and arms. Further, if you are actually strong enough to do that, good luck on the engine continuing to run and not completely dying on you or cracking in half, as mine did! I truly wish I was saying something different, but in good conscience, I just can't. This machine is garbage if you judge it on the size/caliber of projects that it claims to be capable of handling(or much smaller). Pics to follow
