Review: Good Variety Pack - Torc Chunky Glitter (24 Colors) I've been getting into resin work and trying out glitters and mica powders in combination. I've received several kits and wanted to experiment with a test. I set up a mold of Norse runes to test new brands of powders and glitters. For each rune, I dipped a paintbrush into the powder, "painted" the bottom of the mold with the powder or glitter, then filled the mold with clear UV curing resin. Then the mold was set to cure. --- The Torc chunky glitter is probably my favorite type of "shaped" glitter that I've tried so far. There are smiley faces and red stars and just overall a really fun variety. The glitter comes in tubes that have resealable caps; the caps can either come off entirely, or open on either side for "shaker" and "spout" options. Note that I had to rapidly abandon any attempt at paintbrush application and just spoon the stuff out, as it didn't want to adhere to the brush. I went with the red stars for this test. The chunky glitter was captured very nicely in the resin. The side where the glitter lay against the mold is (unsurprisingly) a little rough, so you'll want to use this glitter primarily as a mix-in. It's very vibrant and colorful inside the clear resin, though, and catches the light beautifully. The glitter is big enough to dominate the show inside the resin, so I'm not sure whether I'd use this as an additive for dice. Maybe something more like a paperweight. Verdict: This seems like a good variety pack if you're wanting to experiment with glitter that comes in shapes. The glitter is shiny and easy to work with, and bonds well with resin. **Q: Is it really 10 microns? That seems extremely small, even for fine glitter.**
A: Yes, the glitter is extra fine

**Q: How well do the glow-in-the-dark colors work? Do they glow for a while? Are they bright or dull?**
A: I think there is only one glow in the dark powder in the set because the one in my set glows through the container I have them in, in my closet. It's a greenish yellow and very bright. It's been glowing since I bought the set months ago.

**Q: How much of the flouresent powder do you use to mix in epoxy for a tumbler?**
A: This is glitter, not mica powder. If you were using mica powder, a little goes a long way!  ;)

**Q: When filed on nails does it fill the color off to silver or does it stay the true color?**
A: Hi friend, if it is mixed with nail polish directly, the color will fade. If you want to use this product, it is recommended that you sprinkle the glitter on it after painting your nails

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ One of the best glitter sets I've ever tried!

I admit it---I adore glitter! It's one of my favorite things. And this set is one of my favorite glitter sets ever! I used this for Christmas crafts a great deal. I made a lot of paint poured ornaments, and sprinkled a little of this glitter on some and a lot on some! I loved all the different styles. Several were perfect for Christmas--snowflakes and red and green sets especially. I liked the containers, which allowed you to pour out a little on one side or a lot on the either. This was super glittery glitter, and the mixes that had several sizes seemed to be in good proportions to look just right without either size dominating. You get a good amount of each type, and I made a LOT of ornaments and still have quite a bit of glitter! Totally recommended!
