Based on number of times the clock was pressed during an active game, the clock will display the number of moves, but only for the current player when pressing and holding down the "+" button. The accompanying manual is rather brief, but outlines a list of many program options. For example, if you want to require one hour (or whatever) for each player, program 2 does this. (You may have to set the desired time digit by digit for each player using the + and - buttons). If you want "Fischer time" added back with each press of a clock, Program 14 does that. If you want a second or other repeating time control after that first hour, then Programs 8 and 10 handle those. Overall, there are 9 different program structures, each with a couple default settings that are adjustable if needed.
