I was hoping to love this thing. I moved into a garden-type apartment setting complex that has been marginally cared for over the years. I ended up having to take Flonase, Claritin-D, AND generic zyrtec to just stop the post nasal dripping so I could sleep. I researched and searched air purifiers, hoping this would be the answer. In the first 24 hours, I did feel my ears draining...all good. I tried using the Ozone feature and kept wondering why the UV light wouldn't come on and stay on. It came on once for 10-20 seconds at high - but at no other time. I tried contacting the seller relentlessly, but received no response regarding this specific issue. Since I couldn't figure out how to actually purify the air, I just ran continuously, like a fan, to filter the air. The sound is a higher pitch than a box fan (I have one that runs simultaneously), it didn't bother me all that much.I guess it filtered the air in the room in which it was placed... ok. I thought that if it had the capability to filter 2000 sq. ft, than surely it should be sufficient for my 800+ sq.ft. apartment. Sadly, it was not. The kitchen still had an abundant of allergens, which were obvious when I saw both me and my son's eyes after sitting in that room for any longer length of time. The main room (for it's function) is quite small, and filtered it "just ok". I didn't feel like the air was filtered at all - and there was just as much dust as when it wasn't running.I'd give this more stars if I didn't have such high expectations for it, and by "high expectations" I mean, I expected it to work as described it would, and hoped I would have just as good of an experience with it that others seemed to have, based on the above reviews.It went back.

DON'T BUY - This Product FAILS and, in addition, CHARGES YOU to return it.This product has a known issue with insertion of the Ozone plates causing trouble with the fan's operation. There is poorly-worded insert with the instructions about this. I complied and very carefully inserted the plates, and pushed them in only far enough to get the other filters behind them back in so I could put the back on. Still the fan barely would start. I took the back off and tried backing the filters out further, and the fan would not start again. I turned it off, then back on, and the fan finally started. It was spinning well so I left the room to do a 3-5 minute test of the Ozone to see how it would fill a room, be vented out, etc. When I came back in after 4-5minutes, I found the unit off. The fan had apparently stopped spinning and burnt out the motor. Am returning it. Will report back if I have issues getting credited. As noted above, no pre-paid return label with such an inconsistent/unreliable product. This SELLER deserves LOW ratings.

I purchased this air purifier to help with very strong seasonal allergies. I have used a number of different purifiers over the years, none have been as comprehensive in their functionality as this one. It arrived just in time for the strong NJ spring pollen. Setup was very easy, all instructions were clear. All you really have to do is add the Ozone plates into the unit and plug the unit in. There are a number of purification settings and options, including multiple fan speeds, multiple filter types, and active UV and Ozone generation to get rid of mold/smell/VOCs/and the like. To purify my bedroom, I used the full Ozone generating room purification for 2 hours, which requires you to leave the room while running. For the night I leave the purifier running on medium and for the first night I have owned the unit I finally slept well. I like that this unit does not skimp out on features, with electrostatic filter, charcoal filter, and a true HEPA 99.97% filter in place you are getting the best air quality possible!The unit is relatively small and the fan is not overly loud to interfere with sleep, if anything it helps by generating white noise. There is a clear LCD panel on the unit, which is very helpful in seeing what mode the unit is running it as there are multiple purification modes and options.Attaching a photo of the unit as it runs on top of my desk. Highly recommend for an allergy sufferer--there's nothing better than pure air to have a good night's sleep.
