And what's best concrete to use?** A: Hello. Thank you for the question. To make a tortoise you will need about 17 lb of concrete. I recommend using high quality concrete To make high-quality concrete watch video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9SC_HmvAezk In addition, a small amount of silicone spray can be used in molds before using concrete. Remove the remainder of the spray with a soft cloth. If you have any questions, please contact us - we will help Sincerely, Alexander **Q: Where is this mold made?** A: Hi Thanks for your question. Molds are manufactured in Ukraine. **Q: I heard that spraying the inside of the mold is tat the key to getting it out in one piece? I long should l wait to try and get the turtle out?** A: Getting the concrete mix just right is key and then letting it fully dry in the sun before taking it out. It will break if there are spots that are not fully dry. We put them in full sun and waited at least 12 hours and we used quick dry concrete. **Q: Can you imprint names on the mold?** A: I didn’t. But I suppose you could if you put your letters in the mold before you put in the cement. It would be difficult but you could give it a few tries . . . Good luck! ## Frequently Bought Together - SvitMolds Mold DIY Turtle Shape Stepping Stone Mold Turtle Decorative Stepping Stone Mould Concrete Cement Mould DIY Personalized Manual Garden Lawn Pathmate Paving Pavement Paver (S02) - SvitMolds Concrete Mold DIY Frog Stepping Stone Mould Concrete Cement Mould ABC Plastic Toad Animal Garden and Yard Decor Garden Path Walkway (1, S68) - SvitMolds Concrete Mold Tortoise Mold Decorative Flower Garden Decor Tortoise Concrete Mould (Small) F01 --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.bo/products/41461685-mold-diy-turtle-shape-stepping-stone-mold-turtle-decorative-stepping](https://www.desertcart.bo/products/41461685-mold-diy-turtle-shape-stepping-stone-mold-turtle-decorative-stepping) --- *Product available on Desertcart Bolivia* *Store origin: BO* *Last updated: 2026-10-31*
