**Q: Can the lever head be mounted on a flat surface and have the lever still work or will it need the base mount too?**
A: It will need the base mount. the lever itself is not stand-alone.

**Q: Can you attach a gopro adapter to the bottom of this, so it can be attached to a gopro mount?**
A: Hi, I am not 100% sure if this will work with the device you have. Most of Quadlock are compatible with Go Pro therefore I assume it will. There is free return service offered by FBA if the item you purchase is incompatible. Thanks

**Q: Do they sell a black lever head?**
A: Never seen one
