## Questions & Answers

**Q: Can someone please upload a review that shows the size of the cot when packaged in it's case? Next to a ruler or arm?**
A: See package specs - should be close: ‎17.8 x 7.6 x 4.5 inches

**Q: How well does this stay up on a slight slope? My Marchway is great if perfectfly level but will collapse under load of the terrain has bit of a slope**
A: I have not tried it on an incline. I can say that it is ok for me scooting into a sleeping bag with some yanking and squirming to position the bag while I am in it. I see that it might collapse if I flop on to it with some momentum, so I take care to not do that.

A small incline will slide you down unless you can sleep-like-a-log literally, completely still for the whole night. This cot seems strong enough for any incline I could actually sleep on.

**Q: Will this be okay for my tent floor?**
A: I think they are designed specifically to be used inside a tent. I’ve never had a problem with our tent floors. Used this particular cot many times in our tent.

**Q: Has anyone used both the "Oxford Green" and the "Oxford and Mesh Black" who is able to compare? Obviously color doesn't matter, but is mesh better?**
A: I’m sure it’s the same material just dipped in different dye

## Customer Reviews

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Update: After 2 weeks of straight use; customer service
*by G***H on July 2, 2022*

Update:Middle leg of cot started to fail and bend at the plastic connection joint (refer to green circled pic of a joint example) after 2 weeks of use. The bend is occurring perpendicular to the support structure, so I consider it an inevitable catastrophic failure.I reached out to the company, and heard back within 4 business days. By today’s standards, I find that very acceptable. The company rep asked for a photograph of the failure, which I immediately responded to. 2 additional business days later, I received an email from the company with a shipping confirmation of a new support leg and a mention that my pic and comments had been forwarded to their R&D.10-stars for the customer service experience.Given this whole experience, I still recommend this cot, but for for lighter users (weight - less than 160 lbs) and or for lighter occasional use.Original review below:This cot is fabulous! I’ve owned 5 cots over the years, and this one’s my favorite by far.Pros: super portable! This cot is small and light, yet VERY sturdy. Build quality is really good with double stitching and rip-stop fabric (see yellow in pics). The locking mechanism is very robust (requires some strength to lock) and makes installation easy compared to most other locking options (see green in pics). The main support poles are pocketed or captured (see blue in pics) which keeps the fabric taut for no-bunching comfort. Assembly takes about 3 minutes and my kids were able to intuitively figure the process out. They could not however engage the previously mentioned locks.Cons - the fabric is very thick rip stop nylon, so it does not breathe compared to a traditional canvas cot. Leg padding that connects to the floor is foam (see red in pics). I suspect this will be the only part of the cot that will fail in time if used outdoors on surfaces other than grass. If used in a tent or on a tarp, it should hold up just fine. None of these cons are game changers… but I thought it’s worth mentioning. Conclusion - the pros easily outweigh the cons and I emphatically recommend this cot to anyone looking for a portable option given they don’t need a high ground clearance type cot. This cot will probably earn a permanent spot in my camping gear, and I could see myself picking up a couple more to replace some of my other cots.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Insanely easy to assemble - Lightweight yet durable
*by L***O on July 19, 2023*

I am in shock at how easy this was to assemble. All the rods are attached with a stretchy cord that keeps them together and makes for mindless assembly or disassembly. The fabric is a thick canvas like material and seems durable and strong. Once assembled, the fabric is very tight, but it gives just enough to make for comfortable sleeping without sagging too much. We plan to primarily use this for hiking/camping, but it can also be used as a bed when our nieces and nephews visit. I also plan to use it in our deck when I want to lay out in the sun too. It’s extremely lightweight and packs nicely into the carrying case that comes with it. Instructions are included and easy to follow. There is a pouch on the side that’s perfect for your phone, earbuds, or other accessories you’d want to keep close by. There is plenty of room on the cot for a 5’4 person. You can sleep comfortably on your back or stomach. However, if you normally sleep on your side with one leg hiked up…. You may have a more difficult time as you’ll probably have your leg on the side of the cot frame / bar. You could, however, use a cut pool noodle on the sides to “pad” the bar, if need be. While it’s only rated up to 310 pounds… we tested it with a someone weighing 325 pounds (a women’s size 28) and they were very comfortable and it held up just fine after laying / moving around on it for quite some time. There is some foam on the feet of the frame (pictured) and I do question how long the foam will hold up after being used in the elements over and over, but the foam is not relevant to the cots function and the rest of unit seems very dependable/ durable. I definitely would recommend this cot to anyone looking for a quick and easy sleeping solution that keeps you comfortable and off the ground. I plan to purchase another.

### ⭐ Broke after using it twice.
*by A***Z on August 3, 2024*

Product has potential even for semi-backpacking. I was using it on a flat surface and assembled it correctly. I’m about 250lbs and don’t move around that much while a sleep. I’ve seen 4stars and decent review about this product before buying it, so i don’t understand how this happened. It has a decent surface and robust side pools. Please consider this problem for the next version of this product..
