I just use them while I'm riding my bike - I have a clip attached to a handlebar using a zip tie and attach with the clip that came with this. I just unclip it to charge and it's really nice to have. Some songs, that utilize stereo, like some Beatles songs and Pink floyd, won't sound well because they sometimes have instruments coming out of only one channel.
