I would recommend taking the package you purchased back to your local hardware store to exchange for another. All together your Tub spout pack should come with a slide adapter, o-ring, slide extension nipple, slide retainer ring, screw, and new spout. This should be assembled in this order with your thread tape. **Q: Is everything needed for the kit included?** A: yes- easy to install - make sure you use a rag or some kind of padding when turning the spicket on the pipe, don't want to mare the chrome surface and scratch it like i did, since it was in the kids bathroom it didn't matter.
