It took my husband ten minutes to assemble the stand. Platform/Bungee Cords I think the design is ingenious. There is a platform tray w/small holes on which you attach your device. You insert a bungee cord (elasticized barbed cord) up, over and down and up again (or any similar variation) through the holes at each corner of your device to form a strap to place over each device corner. It's very easy to do. The bungee straps hold your device securely in place. I am typing this review on my iPad on the stand and it's very secure w/just a little movement as I type. I have had the stand for over two weeks and have been using it with a Kindle Voyage without cover and an iPad Mini with cover. Since the Voyage power button is on the back, I remove its cover to place it on the stand and leave the top right corner out of its bungee strap so I have access to the power button. It's still very secure. If you have additional sets of bungee cords, you may set up and leave in place the bungee arrangements for more than one device. They are $4.99 per set of four. It fits in the tablet holder, but it sinks down when placed in holder. It won’t stay in one place, but slowly sinks down, perhaps because of the weight of the tablet. In all our use of this stand, it has NEVER come even close to falling over. **Q: Will this unit accommodate a Windows Surface tablet computer?** A: The Levo Deluxe G2 stand is specified to hold a tablet up to 8.5 x 11 inches weighing up to 4 pounds. The Microsoft Surface 2 Pro is 6.8 x 10.8 inches and weighs 2 pounds so it should work. The Surface 2 and the Surface Pro are the same size and about the same weight so they should work as well. The Surface Pro 3 is 7.93 x 11.5 so it exceeds the max width by 0.5 inches. The Levo stand has many perforated holes giving you a lot of flexibility to mount different size items. I measured my stand and the maximum hole width is in fact 11 inches. A Surface Pro 3 may work (I don't have one) but it will be tight. However there is a lot of room around the edges of the existing holes. You could easily drill a few more holes if you are not satisfied with the fit using the existing holes. Highly recommended. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Fantastic accessory for tablet readers! *by F***D on April 9, 2019* Use primarily with a Fire HD 10 tablet, very stable & durable, yet can be easily moved on its wheels, yet with the 20-pound base it is very, very stable and secure. I read in an easy chair and bed (where large tablet is difficult to hold for extended times), but reading on tablet is so much nicer than a cell phone. Wish I had something like this years ago reading heavy books in bed. I tried a much less expensive device but that was far more shaky and unstable, whenever you clicked on the screen the device shook and not practical for extended use. Took me a couple months to decide to buy the LEVO because it was expensive, but I am very happy with it and know it will last a very long time. We also watch Amazon Prime, Netflix & Hule on the HD 10 using the LEVO floor stand and can position the tablet overhead while laying in bed. It is very easy to move and adjust while laying down to optimize placement. Well designed and constructed, it is an amazing product. I can use it from any chair to read for hours at a time without having to hold the tablet and very easily move it out of the way while watching the big screen television. I read many RSS feeds, the NY Times and Washington Post each morning, can read top stories while in bed and later in the living room just by rolling the LEVO down the hall. I rigged a 10-foot USB charging cable in both places so I just wrap a couple loops of the charging cable around the upper arm and can keep the tablet fully-charged at all times. This is definitely the Cadillac of tablet holders for extended use for tablets. Updated: April 23, 2021: after two years of daily use this device is performing as well as when it was new and I use it every evening and every morning, 365 days! My only issue is the vertical pipes slide down a wee bit each day, the top joint about 1/2" and bottom joint about 1/4". It is very easy to open the retaining clamp and reset the two connectors, maybe less than 5 seconds to reposition both connectors. I will look to see if there is an adjustment to make them hold fast again. After a few days the height becomes shorter than my glasses focal length can handle so I must adjust, but this a a VERY small inconvenience compared to the benefits provided. I use a Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 Plus tablet, 12.4" screen, heavy, but spectacular resolution from an AMOLED screen. I can hold tablet for a few minutes in a chair, but weight makes it difficult to hold it for extended reading without a stand. This LEVO stand allows me to read for 3 to 4 hours at a time without any fatigue. The base is heavy, but makes it very stable. I only wish there was a similar device that was more portable and easier to carry around. The wheels on base work great on hard floors, but not as easily on rugs.
