Recently after several falls, plus TRYING ALL Diameter tips available & 5/8" was wide, nonskid, ,,& perfect fit for almost 3/4" custom wooden canes I purchased at craft fair years ago. Not only did Iuck out on solid oak cane with slightly oval tip,,,: THESE TIPS ARE TIGHTER FITTINH, STURDY (NOT 1 SLIP OR SCREEN IN GROCERY STORE. BOTTOM IS WIDER NONSKID WITH GROVES LIKE RASING TIRES! BEST CHOICD 4 ANY CANE USER NEEDING 2 LEAN HARD ON CANE due 2 back injuries! Well made, never skids, & fits tightly so walking 4 disabled so much safer! Bought 2 packs just in case, and would highly recommend to other cane users instead on feet! Made walking easier,, & havent had 1 incident of tip sliding, l leading me to fall! Recommend as best tip 4 canes. I really like the looks of this cane foot. The fit is great and it looks MUCH BETTER on a nice cane than your traditional style foot you’d find at the big box or drug stores; BUT, the compound that they are made of are not the soft rubber that you normally find. These are a little “stiffer” which works fine except of slick finished surfaces like hardwood. Outside on dirt, stone, pavement and so forth, not a problem. Be careful on slick finishes, you may lose traction. This review comes after about a week or so of considerable use
