This is essentially a bootable thumb drive with open source software in it. You are paying for a thumbdrive....and someone preloaded this software. Really, I should have thought of this but hey....I bought one. It starts into YUMI multi-boot, where you can choose to boot regularly, as windows password recovery, or into the suite of linux tools. If you choose the linux tools you get a Boot repair disk, Ophcrack for Vista 7 and 10, or Linux xPUD mini OS.For me, the mini OS failed to run, citing numerous errors like "no screen found" (um, so how did i read that then?) "no devices detected" and "No such process" to only name a few. If you know linux you can get this working, but really this is a tool made for helping those who are only moderately knowledgeable.Nothing fancy, nothing that you cannot do yourself.....but still....it is already done.....mostly
