Review: Brilliantly useful, and superb quality - MUCH BETTER THAN THEY HAVE RIGHT TO BE! £45, that's what I paid for them 7 November 2025. Next to them, I have a pair of Bowers & Wilkins Pi8 earphones that cost £349. They sound the same, which is absolutely great. But consider their price - £45!! The noise cancellation got a great workout tonight on the train with crying babies, train noise etc - absolutely great. The sound quality is great. But here is where it gets interesting; The Soundcore Space A40 just WORK. Dual device connection, and if I'm watching on the TV, it is also connected to my phone. If I send messages on my phone, the earphones just prioritise the TV. Whereas my expensive B&W drop the TV sound for a brief moment to try play the send message tune. The Soundcore has a very advanced EQ range of settings. You can turn off touch control buttons to name a few. The ear bud tips come in a variety of sizes, making for a comfortable fit - even while you're sleeping on your side on them! To be clear; I bought a set of earbuds for 7x the price of these Soundcore Space A40 and the Soundcore is absolutely better value for money. It has a great deal more functionality than the others and the design looks and feels premium. This is my 5th set of Soundcore ear/head phones (others I lost or stepped on). I doubt I'll buy anything other than Soundcore from now on
Review: Well impressed and packs a punch - These earbuds for the price are amazing value. They offer an excellent audio experience with sound quality, active noise cancellation that dulls out ambient noise and handy gesture controls. When combined with the app you can adjust the anc to low medium strong level or leave on adaptive which uses ambient noise to judge the level you need. From my experience this isn’t the best so I chose a preset to my preference. You have a customisable EQ for your audio tastes, hear ID is a test range for your hearing that tailors music to your ears or default. So quite a bit for your money already. There is also white noise and brainwave options in the app for background sounds and a limited customisation option. Standard 10m distance for connectivity with Bluetooth but can connect with at least devices (I have tested). You turn music on your phone and play on your laptop and bit of delay but no need to turn off one and connect to the other. App also has translation features which I haven’t tested yet. They are very comfy for me which is personal preference but comes with adjustable ear pieces. Comes in white dark navy and black. The case is small and holds decent charge got like four charges on one charge and I use them for five hours. The handiest feature is custom gesture controls. So if your one earbud person you can set the gestures you want for each. Mirror left and right or give separate options. Each earbud has 3 gestures you can assign. Tap double tap and hold for 2second. Everything from play, skip, volume, change anc. Dropped a few times and still works only downside is the case opens to easily and earbuds bounce out. A better catch could work well but a trade off for price I’m happy with. Really recommend these and I’ll be getting another set.

A: Thanks for bringing this issue to our attention. I am sorry for the inconvenience. Space A40 is relatively positioned higher. There are more noise reduction functions to choose from in the APP, so the noise cancellation effect will be better. Hope that can meet your needs.

**Q: What is the latancy of this earbuds? Can't find anywhere about its sound delay/latancy**

These noise-cancelling earbuds are a solid 4 out of 5 stars for everyday use, offering a great combination of convenience and performance at this price point. The Good Stuff I was immediately impressed by the nice compact design of both the earbuds and the charging case; they slip into a pocket easily. The battery life is excellent, easily getting me through a long workday without needing a top-up. Pairing them with my Android phone was super easy and quick—a few taps and I was connected. Plus, the selection of different ear bud sizes included in the box made it simple to find a comfortable and secure fit, which is crucial for any earbud. Where They Could Improve The main area for improvement is the noise cancelling, which is decent but not exceptional, particularly when dealing with traffic noise. When walking by a road, the noise cancelling struggles a bit, letting more low-frequency sound bleed through than I'd like. The biggest drawback, however, is the wind noise: a slight breeze creates a noticeably loud rustling sound in the mic, making it disruptive when taking calls or even just listening to music outdoors. Final Verdict Overall, if you're looking for a pair of earbuds with excellent battery life, a comfortable fit, and a compact design for use in quieter environments like an office or on a plane, these are a fantastic option. However, if your primary use is walking or running in windy, urban environments, the noise cancelling limitations might be a minor frustration. They're a great value and a genuinely good set of earbuds.
