Next time I'll spend the extra for Split sleeving. This stuff works yet is TOTAL PAIN IN NECK to work on long runs; is total pain as roll comes undone at first removal and impossible to wrap up decently again; and, there is NO REASONABLE WAY to CONTROL FRAYING. Used hot cutters, heat gun, and flame... all is horrible and leaving end almost impossible to work with AND sleeve begins unraveling a few millimeters from cut end. Same material in split sleeving is workable though NOT OF SIMILAR QUALITY as No-fray "metallic" sleeves.

So far I've used it in custom ethernet cable terminations and to secure trailer wiring. I didn't bother to hot cut the ends and had no issues with excessive unraveling. Any unraveling that did occur was easily laid back down before securing with heat shrink.

This is a good wire sleeve to protect wiring harnesses from abrasion. Techflex is a good brand I use to use it at my old job and it withstood abrasion very well.

Not the best thing to use

Worked great for 2 X 18 gauge wires.

Works like it should, but I wish it was darker over the header cables.
