I spray it directly onto my towel-dry short hair (about 3 sprays across my whole head) and then 1-2 sprays into my hand. I then rub my hands together and use them to rub the spray into my hair and style it. You can feel the product providing resistance as you style, the texture changes as if the clay has been magically added somehow. It doesn't feel sticky, but you feel the resistance as you style and you know its a great product. Once dry, I check the style and add a further spray to tame any stray hairs that I'd missed or hadn't found, and follow up with a fixing hairspray spray if needed. It gives a firm, but re-styleable hold that doesn't go crispy, but stays in place. It adds volume and texture, whilst staying matte finish and lightweight. It smells great, and you don't get the dreaded blob of clay/wax that you forgot to blend in at the back of your head (we've all been there, when a friend or co-worker tells you about it, and you can't see it in the mirror because of the location). For day 2 hair, 2-3 sprays will give you just enough moisture and product to restyle for the day, but honestly if you rub through with dry hands instead and restyle it, it will give you a great 'tousled' look straight from bed, without needing too much of any other products. Overall, I absolutely recommend this product as a great alternative to anyone who is using wax, pomade or clay at the moment, and wants to keep the same style but try something a little less heavy, sticky and prone to clumping. It drops a star as the nozzle seems to spray in every direction as a spray then as stream... I suspect it gets blocked so running it under warm water may help.
