Review: Superb product. 2 year old and 9 year old children keep playing it every day since Christmas! - Excellent Product. There are no instructions as many have said, but there are absolutely NO stability issues. It is simply in the design. THe products work perfectly. What you get in the box: Lots of pieces to fit together. Lots of marbles. THats it. There are two unique pieces that is different from other GALT marble runs, and that is the "racer" start trap at the top, which allows 4 marbles to be released at the same time, and the "finisher trap" which shows you more easily which marble came first, second third etc. It's not a big deal, but it's a nice addition. The key thing is you must start building small. If you've not built a house before, you don't want to jump in and try and build it all in one go...you'll just get stuck and it'll collapse. Much as the kids will want to build whats on the box, start small. Very small. And very soon you'll be able to build bigger. The negative reviews i think have come from people simply not putting it together properly, and getting frustrated with it. Four reviews, all saying unstable...thats due to design of the run by the owner, not the product itself. Grab two "feet" and a connecting piece. Three peices. That's all. Link them up. There ya go. Your first marble run! If you are building it for some younger kids, let them play with it now - its a start, and it will keep them busy while you work on more complext peices! It will be more than stable, as its not very tall, and the feet will be fine. Now grab a third foot, and another running peice. If you want to build a tower, its best to put the feet in a triangle shape to start with, then later you can build your own wacky designs. So now you have three feet, arranged in a triangle, and two running pieces. YOu should be able to put a arble in the top running piece and let it go all the way down. If it doesn't just check the holes and make sure there is a logical path downwards. Each running piece has one side without a hole, one side with a hole, so you always want the holey side to drop into another running piece with the non hole side. Then you can add another running peice to go back onto the first leg. Of course you will need some filler bit to fit in between the lower runing piece and the new top runinng piece. And so on... Once you get used to it, its very simple and easy to do. My 9 year old daughter looves building with it, and has built some very complex runs, and my 2 year old son loves playing with it all too. Both of them have been playing with the set every day pretty much sice Christmas..its a big hit. Highly recommended, and even more fun when you buy another set so you can build more elaborate runs!
Review: Brill, keeps my boys entertained for hours! - My 4 year old son loves watching the YouTube marble racing and can be entertained for ages with them. So for Christmas I bought him a huge complicated marble run that sent the marbles up by batteries etc, it took 3 hours to build and broke within 5 minutes. So I searched desertcart for more of a 'racing' mable run, and came across this one. It certainly is a 'racer' where you put in 4 marbles at the top, twist the top bit and the marbles fall equally into the top bit and start their race. They love it, then it goes into the circular bit where any marble can get a head start and then it falls into another circular bit and some get held up and any marble can win! At the end of the race is a podium, where it'll have a first, second, third and fourth winner. My son and his brothers are thoroughly entertained with this, they start tournaments and what not with all different colour marbles. A few minor snags, well it didn't come with building instructions? So I had to figure it out looking at the box. I imagine you could build your own racer, but that's far too complicated for my skill set, perhaps my kids will try but I doubt it will be as good as what we've followed on the box. We will buy another Galt marble run to add to it and that I am sure will give us more choice of runs to build. Another snag being that it can fall over and break, it isn't super sturdy but with a solid ground it's fine, they just need to be careful, but agin when we add to it with another run then I am sure we can sturdy it more. Lastly, the marbles... some are every so slightly too big and get stuck, it would be good to have come with more choice of colours so they could really get a good race going, it may mean just trial and error until we find a good few marbles they can add to it. Other than those few points, it really is a great marble run, looks just as good as the Youtube ones.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: can the marble racer be connected to other marble runs?**
A: Yes can be connected to all galt marble runs

**Q: Are the 20 marbles in the pack different colours so you can tell apart?**
A: The marbles are different colours so you're able to differentiate when racing.

**Q: Is this compatible with other non galt marble run brands**
A: I don't know if its compatible but be careful as cheaper brands sometimes don't comply with EU regulations and the toxins on the cheap plastic can be harmful to children and the marbles break easily as I found out with a set I bought and ended up binning.

**Q: What is the actual size of the marbles this item uses?**
A: Seem to be pretty standard 1cm

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ nostalgic fun with your kids
*by D***R on 6 August 2015*

I bought this for my 6yr old daughter as something to play with on a weekend. I had played with the same toy as a child and remember it being good old-fashioned fun that didn't involve any electronics or the internet! The product arrived and was well packaged. There are a lot of pieces that have to be put together (again, for me it was part of the fun) but there were no instructions - to work out what went where you have to just look at the images on the box. While I understand that instructions would be overkill, the problem I found was that all of the images on the box were taken from weird angles, obviously for marketing of the product, which made it difficult to see what went where. Ultimately I had to construct the whole thing as my 6yr old (with the help of her 12yr brother) was struggling to follow the images. For me it was worth the money although I wouldn't have paid more than I did (£7.36). 4 stars, would have been 5 if there was better images inside the box to help with construction.
