Meaning, meaning enough to seal 1 pair of headlights. That’s where this 3M sealant comes into play. I had just used the T-240KT Turtle Wax kit to restore the headlights on a 2011 Mazda3 Sport . Attached in this review are the before and after pics. But I needed a sealer and so I bought this 3M sealer. It would save some elbow grease down the line.** A: the life span of your brand new vehicle’s headlights should be a good 2-3 years before they begin yellowing. This clear coat will last close to that time as well so either way it will have to be done again down the line. Since your vehicle is new I would suggest getting your headlights ceramic coated, or buy the product and apply it yourself, it’s not too difficult. I highly recommend Adams Graphene coating. They just have some kind of UV protectant in them. **Q: how often do you need to reapply?** A: Any product made by 3M is going to do exactly what they say it is going to do. 3M is one of only two companies I can say this about. Need for reapplication is going to be determined by initial quality of application, frequency of washing, exposure to sunlight, speed of driving in existing air quality and so on. I applied it to mine, following the instructions, about 8 months ago. The vehicle is a 1998 model and the headlights were very yellow.
