Kenwood KFC-E170P 300W 17cm Component Speaker System

These were an off the cuff purchase for replacing my parcel shelf coaxials. Kenwood is a brand name, well known, so took a gamble for the little they cost. They are incredibly good for the price. Genuinely they are only 'rear fill-in' speakers but considering maybe relocating them. Powered by the head unit currently but sound louder and 'fuller' with my amp. Bass response is fine, mids and trebles are solid. It isn't going to blow you away, but it's good enough - and for the price it's really great value. Be warned, when taking them out of the box they are light, feel flimsy and don't fill you with confidence - but stick with them! Also, the wiring included is longer than usual, so if you wanted to make more interesting setups, the options are there!

Nice mid range and tweeters are very clear! Just need some nice bass!

I payed £36.15 for these with amazon saying the RRP was more like £60, so I thought I would be getting something with the quality you'd expect for £60 and even if it wasn't worth that, it would probably be worth the £36.15. I was wrong. The units feel very light and cheap. I installed them and they sounded light and cheap too, not notably better than the 12 year old system that they are replacing. They sound okay but I wouldn't recommend buying these as there are better options at the price point and way better options if you are willing to spend that little bit more. I have sent mine back.

I got these as an upgrade for a Chrysler PT Cruiser - they went straight back as the tired 15 year old paper cones shoved into the cost-reduced misery that is a Mk 2 Cruiser sounded better, which is just shocking really. They's also a bit on the small side for fitment as a factory replacement, but that's easily worked around. It was the gutless, thin sound that made them not worth the effort of fitting. Can't think of any environment where these would be good, in all honesty. Surprised as I've done full four-figured Kenwood installs in the past and been impressed. Assuming these are cheap for a reason and don't embody Kenwood's usual high quality!

Very happy with these. Bought to replace the OEM setup in my car and things sounded much better afterwards.

They aren't 300watt, they are 30 watt, tiny magnets.

Not bad but I suppose you get what you pay for. Ideal for normal volume but when cranking it up then they tend to pop a bit. Swapped them from the front to the back and they seem happy there. Good value.

Excellent sound associated to my Kenwood Radio

Habe diese Lautsprecher nun schon ein zweitesmal gekauft und verbaut. Hatte diese Lautsprecher schon in einem Nissan X-Trail T30 verbaut gehabt und dort hatten sie mich echt überzeugt nur hatte ich diese nach dem kauf des Auto in diesem gelassen. Nun 2 Autos später habe ich mir diese wieder gekauf weil ich von den Kenwood Lautsprechern einfach überzeugt war und wurde auch nicht entteuscht.

Bin sehr zufrieden mit den Lautsprechern der Klang ist glasklar eine sehr gute Qualität die Installation auf der Hutablage funktioniert auch sehr gut dank enthaltenden Schablonen ✔️👌 pS wenn man einen Subwoofer im Auto verbaut hat 😉👉 dann hat man auch Bass 😂👍
