It begins on a broader scope of physiology and becomes more detailed as you progress into the book, beginning with the basics in cell physiology and moving on to topics such as respiration, nervous system, endocrine and hormone regulation. This helped to reaffirm information from lectures as well as to grasp aspects I wasn't fully understanding. Make sure you have a great variety of colouring pencils because you're going to need them! Review: Top of the pops! - Excellent detail and pictures. Learning by colouring really works for me and its a fab break from reading. Info absorbs without effort. I've bought a few of this type of book but this is the best.
