Not an OEM part - But it worked

Pretty simple.. The part worked and the installation was pretty easy if you first view one of the YouTubes on it. It gets a 3 star because:1. The listing implies it is a Whirlpool part. It's not.2. The paperwork says it can't be returned if the box is open. The paperwork is IN THE BOX.The seller isn't being honest with us :-{...View the YOUTubes before you buy this part. It took me about an hour total to replace it. The rubber inlet hose is $delicate$ and hard to get back on the replacement pump. A little lube would have probably helped. If your (pump outlet) flapper is missing, like mine was, look in the outlet hose. Mine was lodged in the hose a couple of inches in and probably caused a lot of the noise. My old pump had two of the three impeller wings missing as well. I was able to do it all from the back of the washer but reversed the clamp on the inlet to make it easier to get to when installing the new one. When you pull the hoses off, you will spill some water in the washer bottom and on the floor. Just a mouth full.

Not Exact Replacement, But You Might Not Need It -- Read On...

*by G***S on Reviewed in the United States on August 3, 2014*

Not an OEM part, but looks/feels high quality (in fact, better molding of the casing than the OEM part). Don't know if my PN 22003059 is different from everybody else's, but mine has an additional bracket molded into the case, and that bracket is used to hold another component that's attached to another port on the impeller body (my OEM pump has three ports, one of which is deadheaded to some device that also has electrical connections; this pump has only two ports). Anyways, to make a long story shorter, I thought I'd just unscrew the pump and impeller from the impeller body/case and put the new one on the old OEM impeller body/case (the one that has three ports and the other component). When I took the old pump/impeller off, guess what fell out? A rusty bit of steel, maybe 1.5" long and .07" wide by .03" thick. Looks like some type of shim stock piece with a slight curve. Maybe it came off of something upstream, who knows? I did read on another site something someone said about a "rusty nail" they found in their impeller space when they opened it up and fixed it themselves. Inspired, I did the same thing: removed the rusty piece of steel, screwed everything back together, and it works just fine now (the original problem was a screeching noise, followed by shutdown and error code nd - "no drain", i.e. the impeller was jammed by the steel piece). So if your symptoms sound like mine, open up the pump and there's a good chance you only have to clean and reassemble to get everything jake again...

    Perfect Replacement, Easy to Install

*by S***W on Reviewed in the United States on May 23, 2015*

This pump fit my older Maytag Neptune perfectly. Installation was less than 30 minutes, and involves only removing the back of the washer, then two hose clamps and an electrical plug. The old pump had gotten very noisy and was not always getting all the water out of the washer. The local repair shop quoted me $99 for the part, plus a minimum of $150 for the service call. It was an easy repair and big savings doing it myself!
