It malfunctioned within a month, but Basesailor immediately sent a replacement. They contacted me to follow up on my purchase even before I contacted them. I have had no problems with the replacement battery case. I have used it on my Note 8 continually since receiving it in July. It is so easy to recharge my phone with the push of a button when the battery runs low. Even took it to Israel for a rigorous 2 week tour. Dropped the phone multiple times while on the trip with no damage to the phone or the case. I am using amFilm screen protector on the glass screen, along with the battery case. The screen protector cracked in multiple places with the falls, but the glass screen on the phone itself had no damage.
