Hopefully it lasts a while because I will say our son loves this toothbrush. Got him it for Easter and for once we aren't having to fight him to brush his teeth. He is 5 and can turn it on and it's definitely getting him to brush longer.Hope they come out with more characters!

I’ve always struggled to get my son (7) to take his time brushing his teeth. I put this in his stocking and for the past few days he gets excited to brush his teeth, follows the prompts of where to brush and for how long, and is so proud when Sonic awards him a “chaos emerald” at the end for his awesome brushing. I don’t know how long the novelty of it will last, but it’s looking good so far.My only complaint is how difficult it is to put the toothbrush cover on.

I have to admit, the idea behind this toothbrush is fantastic. It really captures kids’ attention, and my child enjoyed using it. The lights, music, and interactive features made brushing fun, which was exactly what I hoped for.However, after less than three months of use, the plastic latch connecting the brush head and handle broke, making the entire toothbrush unusable. For a $25 toothbrush, I expected much better quality. It's a major design flaw, and unfortunately, I won’t be purchasing this product again.

The product as a whole is good. Kids loved it. Brush part broke within days of having it. Plastic locking mechanism is cheaply made had to superglue the brush together within the first week. Swapping brushes no longer an option.

This toothbrush is amazing. The more you brush, you level up. Great motivational tool for my 8 year old. It also helps direct him where to brush and how long. Healthy and fun!
