Well, it's quartz, so it's going to be better than any and every Rolex/Cartier/Breitling clockwork escape mechanism. Rounded and elegant mineral glass but has no claim to water-resistance, but then again, it's a dress watch, so you're advised take it off even for hand-washing, which is no big deal. There is a definite 'classy' look to the watch which belies its price. It is comfortable to wear. Only one very small thing which I feel guilty in mentioning, is the case. I would have been quite happy to have paid a couple of pounds more to have proper case to store it in as opposed to the flimsy cardboard one provided, but for me that hasn't detracted from the presentation of the watch. The only fault was that the strap was very small. I do not have a very big wrist, but when I put the watch on i had to use the second hole. The strap could benefit from being maybe 20mms longer, since anyone with a large wrist would not be able to wear it. This is the only downside but has cost a star. I notice several other comments refer to the strap length. The watch itself was lovely. It is quite big, which is not apparent in the images by the seller.
