Connection issues
I bought the for my son for training session and soccer games. It works great when you are close the the devices, but when he is on the other side of the field it does not track correctly. When plugged in for the data it does not accurately transmit his information. Wish their was else available to track his progress.

Clever piece of technologly - definitely helping to improve my daughter's game!
I got the UNO for my middle schooler a few weeks ago and she's been able to use it now that the weather is nicer. It's easy to setup and get working. This technology gives my daughter and her coach the ability to measure her game (like ball speed, frequency of using her left foot vs. right foot). Already we've noticed a difference in the training regime since the analytics clearly showed a weak left foot. She's excited to work on her game and improve! Device setup was easy, strap up, start playing and see the data through the app. As far as the equipment goes, the weight is negligible, so she doesn't feel them at all while playing which is great.Package:The UNO comes in a neatly packaged box, which includes two straps and two sensors (one for each foot), a charging case and a USB charging cables along with some cleaning tools and a small booklet with the app info and basic instructions. The App: The UNO app is free and easy to register. Just need to give basic data like height, weight, playing position, dominant foot, etc.. The app then asks to pair with the sensors and connects with them via bluetooth. What's cool is the instructional video then pops up via the app and guides you through the step by step o how to properly wear them on your cleats. Super easy setup and intuitive. All in all, we think this is a clever piece of technology that should be helpful to any soccer player looking to improve their game.

Statistics in a fun way!
First of all I'm not a professional player, I just play with my friends every week and we were looking for a way to measure some of our game play statistics like weak leg control and distance covered and such so we can compare, improve and laugh on the guy that run the least :)So I found Playmaker and I love it!The setup is so easy it took me a few minutes to pair my device to the app and I was ready to go.I was a bit afraid I will be aware of it when I play but the moment we started to play I forgot they were on me.When we finished our game we were excited to sync our data to see how we were doing and stuff like max kicking velocity made us think of that shot in the game. The app is really easy to use and every part of data is explained really well. I can't wait to see what future features they will add to it.All in all I love this product its really fun and simple to use! I have already convinced several of my teammates to get one :)

Perfect to get the weak foot working.
My son wanted to be more aware of his weak foot. This tracks his touches, speed, releases, kicking velocity. It’s a really cool tool. Only for serious players, looking to pick apart their game.

Recommendation for every soccer athlete who wants to improve their game
I bought the device a couple weeks ago and used it already in a couple practices and games. It is very easy to understand. Very accurate and gives you the information you need to improve your game. It shows you how often you passed the ball, in what intensity and how long you needed to release the ball again.Important: the device is very smart, so, it can detect if you are playing a game and for how long you are playing. The reason why I want to mention this, is because I thought if I wear the playermaker for the warm-up, it will collect all the data together. That is wrong, it can detect your movements during a game and is very accurate. In addition to that, it will tell you how often you used your left and right foot. That is very important to know because an elite athlete uses both foots. Even though, one foot will always be dominant, it helps you to get aware of your foot balance, so that you can improve it.The UNO team is also very helpful and will answer all of your questions. So, I highly recommend buying this device, because it pays of.

The data recorded is way too far off
I am a soccer coach and individual ball skills trainer. I wanted to this product to show the parents how effective my training is, so one of the most important data points for me was how many touches the kids get in a training session. I have counted the touches myself to try and get an idea, and in an hour training session, I have counted 500 - 750 touches.I have had several kids wear these in trainings, and have wore them myself in games. The touches recorded in my training session have never gotten above 200 which means it is missing more than half the touches. In the games, the 'time' recorded has also been way off, which means I have no clue at what point in the game it was actually recording.Everything was easy to use, and I love the IDEA of being able to track this data. It was incredible to see the data it did download even though I can't trust it. Bottom line, if the data was accurate, this product would be Incredible. But it's not :(

Battery Died
My daughter wanted these for her soccer training. They are ok but after 4 months one of them quit charging. No one wants to deal with that and I have not contacted the company but for the price I expect better.

Grate and accurate analysis, very easy to use
Very easy to use just put them on correctly and it will do the rest, i trained and played with the playmaker a few time and it was so light weight i didnt even feel it!!! The result was very accurate and it showed me the amount of time i was working, the distance during the session, how long i was leading the ball or passing it and how much i was using each leg ( for dribbling or for passing/passing in one touch)It was so accurate that one time i switched the sensors between my feet and the playermaker announced on the app that i put the not correctly and it didnt count the session in order not to mislead my other results!!! Very happy with it , it helps me work on my week sides very recommended for football teams and coaches!!!

Not good
Doesn’t track well at all, play constantly and never registers my left foot touches even though I use my left foot loads, is no way near correct for game length 90 min games and it thinks I’ve only played 30-50 mins. I’ve followed all the videos I am wearing them correctly, I just think they are a great idea in theory but in practice they just don’t work as well as what they are described to

Designed for professional rather than casual use.
This is a review of the Playermaker Smart Football Tracker from Uno.The tracker comes with a set of rubber straps for fixing to your football boots. I chose the large ones in this set, however you can also get. medium size. The instructions are fairly limited with this set. Thankfully, things are fairly self-explanatory once you've download the app.As the screenshots show from the app, the Android version is still fairly limited. Considering this is the best smartphone OS out there, it's strange that this hasn't been setup as fully functional yet, although it does promise that it'll be up and running in November 2021.There's a usb cable included (type c). I did try charging from a laptop charger, however it wouldn't work, so had to go back to my phone charger instead. These don't appear to have an off button and will drain overnight if not left in charge. The light went from green to red.Use is fairly simple. These seem to show live battery levels, although data isn't shared until re-docked after use.Setup on the app seems to be very team orientated. Unless you're in an official team, it doesn't let you setup. In my testing, I've had to be a little creative, but it doesn't seem to be able to setup for anyone just wanting to record casual use. There's a minimal level of use when recording. As such, it could be frustrating if you haven't done enough to record the minimal use. There is no explanation of why the bottom is removable. Perhaps this is to do with the team dock that they do?Overall, these aren't for casual use and will really only be of benefit for anyone in an official team and taking their training seriously. I may lend these to my nephew to see how he gets on and if it improves his game. Watch this space for an update. For now, however, I feel that these could be better for what they cost. Better instructions would help and more features on the Android app, including shorter session recording.

good piece of kit
At the time of this review this football tracker kit is £199.99. Now i have to be honest and was quite surprised at the price and looking forward to trying these to see if they were worth their money. Now firstly the medium size straps are child / small adult sizes and the large are adult size. The kit arrives in a small box but everything you need is there. I have an iphone so was able to download the app straight away without issues.I love the videos to help set up. The straps fit onto your boots and the tracker clicks into them. You dont need to turn them on, they sense when you take them out the charging case and turn on.The information and tracking that you receive after your game is truly fascinating! how can some simple straps / tracker pick up so much information, how many kicks, what side i favour etc. You do have to have a minimum usage per time as its generally designed for whilst you play a game. After some research it appears these are becoming quite popular and im truly not surprised. They are ideal for those who truly want to advance their career in football. I wouldnt buy these as a hobby gadget but for a career most definately.

Great to improve any person’s game
As a PE teacher for more then 10 years and a football coach, I was very curious about this device. It comes with instructions, but as soon as you install the app in your phone, it’s very easy to follow instructions. They are great to be used by adults or children, in Sunday league or just this indoor games with friends.I was curious about how good would they work indoors, but didn’t see any difference in stats or odd disconnections.Battery is acceptable to this kind of device, I would charge it after every usage. It worked well and with accuracy for most of the times (9 in 10), so good enough for me.Another thing to mention is the durability, because after a few months using it, it still works fine. Finally, it looks and feels a great tool for anyone wanting to improve their game.Fully recommended.
