It was a little too tight so I had to prize one edge of the vent slider wider so the tab would fit in. This worked well for me so may work for other mini kamados too. The unit itself is pretty basic and all functions are controlled by the app which is very easy to use. I noticed that the fan kicks in slowly and increases speed as the temperature drops which stops the temperature increasing rapidly. After setting up, I had a small brisket on the kamado and wanted to keep the temperature at 135Β°c for smoking. The cook took around 4 hours. The temperature stayed between 130Β°c -143Β°c throughout the entire cook. I'm very impressed with that as the temperatures in a mini kamado can fluctuate rapidly. I really can't fault this temperature controller, it just works and its very efficient at what it does the app is very good I am very happy with my purchase, and I wish I had got one of these sooner as I've just made the best brisket I've ever had.
