I thought it might be an allergy to new dental bridge, but dentist checked and there was no inflammation around the actual gums and dentist said gums would show a reaction as more sensitive than tongue. Possibly a reaction to nerve damage from dental work affecting my tongue, but also realised that a branded toothpaste for sensitive teeth was also burning my mouth which took me weeks to realise might also be worsening the problem. Woke one morning with inside of lip bleeding as mouth was so dry and sore. Tried this toothpaste in the hope it would ease all these symptoms but wasn't that hopeful but within 2 days use, morning and night, my mouth was a lot better moisturised and sore lip healing.
