I let it sit overnight in the room and it did not move an inch the next day. My other hats have been worn during the summer in Texas while out on the golf course and absolutely no issues. Again, I applied this at home the night before so the adhesive could stick. May sure you are super careful and do not let the pads stick to themselves or it's game over. Peel off bit by bit and align the middle of the pad straight onto the middle of the hat and you'll be good to go. I've been using same one for 2 weeks now working to build a retaining wall. However it doesn't absorb any sweat. As a matter of fact it does the opposite and creates more sweat.
