It took a few tries to get the continuous drain going, but once we did, it worked like a pro! I used it in the basement of an old house that has some drainage issues with standing water. After sweeping there water across the concrete floor and into a sump pump drain, the dehumidifier totally dried the place out. The humidity levels went from 97% to 61% within a day or two.With regards to the continuous drain, you have to use the hose that comes with it, not a garden hose that will also screw onto the outlet. Read the instructions carefully. Once you get it set up, you have to push the pump button to get to going.

I purchased the 120 pint Yaufey dehumidifier after being pleased with the 80 pint unit that I already owned and had purchased for our tack room to prevent mildew on our horse tack. Both units do a great job at removing moisture from the air. Of course, purchase the size appropriate for the space you need to dehumidify. After about 8 months the 120 pint unit started making extra noise. I am giving a 5 star rating because the units work very well, and Yaufey actually answered the phone quickly when I called, and promptly took care of the problem to my satisfaction. I would recommend the Yaufey units to a friend.

I have had this unit since last June. This year when I plugged it in to start up again for the warmer months it ran but no moisture was being taken out of the air. I thought maybe it was too cold etc but after 3 weeeks still nothing was happening . I contacted their support email expecting to be told its out of warranty etc. Much to my surprise the Rep I got to email with was very helpful. She went thru trouble shooting with me and finally decided the unit was no longer working as it should. I was given a few options , one of them being to get a new one no charge and to just send back the defective one no charge. My experience was good with this company and I hope the new unit lasts longer than the 1st.

I will start out and say the Unit at first I'd rate a 4, but after having some issues with freezing, I contact customer service and they have been super. good troubleshooting ideas to try and test. After tests, they are sending me a replacement unit for this one that has given me some problems.This unit definitely has the capacity to pull lots of moisture, it does a fantastic job in our full basement. More companies need to stand behind their products like Yaufey does, it's rare these days.(and yes this is a real review, by a real person, not getting paid to say any of this)

Worked great for the first season, turned it on for the next season and unit would not pull moisure from the room. Contacted customer support and after a little troubleshooting it was determined the refrigerant was not working. A free replacement unit was offered as a resolution. Looking forward to the new unit arriving soon. Great customer service!

This Dehumidifier is amazing it reduced the humidity from 60% to 45% in our 2600 sq ft home in no time. Also very efficient.

It works really well went from 64 to 40 in a day on high had to drain the tank once holds a lot of water alittle loud to sleep next to even on low but works very well

Update: After correspondence with customer service I was able to get the dehumidifier working again. Will see how it goes from here, but so far so good. ** Purchased August 2024. Started it up this spring after being off all winter. Seemed to be running fine until recently when I noticed it didn't sound like it usually does. Set the drain hose on a tray and ran for 2 hours - got minimal water accumulation. Did not want to leave running in basement due to strange noise apparently coming from the compressor. Presently waiting for return contact from Yaufey as "they are not presently taking calls at this time". Are you kidding me?????
