I am 51 and dealt with bad blackheads my whole life. I’ve spent more money than I care to admit. This product truly works! I apply it morning and night and have seen exfoliation magic! It also tightens pores and helps the over all tightening of aging skin. Great product!

I have very stubborn blackheads on my nose. It’s my fault honestly. I never had acne issue until my mid twenties. Then acne/blackhead came with vengeance. Going to esthetician solved my acne issue but no matter what I do (acid peel, microdermabrasion, nose pore strip, you name it, I’ve done it). I eventually gave up on my blackhead. Figured it’s like my pet. Better just learn to live with it. I read the review prior to the purchase and thought what do I have to lose?Oh my gaaaawwwd!!!! This shit works!!!! I put it on at night and noticed a small change the next day. Two weeks later, I’m 80% better!!! My “pets” are leaving me!!!!I am SERIOUSLY excited! Yea, the price sucks and you get so little for the price but dear Lord, I have never met anything that was a match for my pets! Whoever this Paula is that made this, she deserves Purple Heart for winning this blackhead war!

I am a UPS delivery driver. I kept breaking out between the mask and the sun shield. Long days at work. Sweat and dirt. This product did not over dry my skin. Little or no more break outs. I absolutely love the sun screen.

Oh boy, I can't be without this BHA exfoliant! This is a replacement for the old foam-based 4% BHA from Paula's choice and it's far superior I think. For one, it doesn't have a scent at all (the old one had an....interesting odor). The serum-style gel smooths easily across the skin, and you don't need a whole lot. The applicator is like a big eyedropper, and so squeeze out less than you think you need.I have oily skin and a good exfoliant is something that is very much necessary. While I mostly use a 2% BHA, I use this 4% three or four times a week; it's plenty gentle (at least for my skin). And when I have the occasional breakout, this helps to clear things up quickly.I very much recommend this product!

I have very oily acne prone skin. I am 52. I am alternating with my Murad product using the 4% BHA Paulas Choice once a day. My skin has noticeably cleared up. It is a bit harder to apply than a cream but worth the results. I’ve been using salicylic acid on my skin for years and I don’t have many wrinkles. Someone commented that it was very drying on hands so I’ve been using a bit of baking soda on my hands after use (what you use to neutralize acids). I can see that for someone with dry skin, this may be too harsh for you. However for anyone with oily skin, it is amazing.

I was hoping this would be stronger than it is, but I was a little disappointed. It didn't do much and I didn't notice a difference. It was a little too mild for me, I prefer something a little stronger. I suppose if you are just starting out with BHA or AHA, or have super sensitive skin, this would be a good product, but if your skin is accustomed to acid or have thicker or more "mature" skin, this may not be the product for you.

Worked as expected

This has a nice texture, hence the 1 star. Other than that, this was a waste of money. I am so done purchasing products from Paula's Choice. Also, it is now being reported that they have all this time been pushing their "cruelty free" status, whilst selling in China since 2009. Pretty disgusting really.
