## Questions & Answers

**Q: How wide is the blade?**
A: I’ll estimate 7/8” to 1” max width. It’s in storage at the moment but I’ve used it a bunch crevacing on bedrock in AZ. Nice strength for deeper cracks.

**Q: Does this pick really have magnets? I can't see them in the head image.**
A: Yes. 3 small magnets

**Q: Trying to decide between this and the 25 inch estwing geo/paleo pick for rockhounding with my kids? any advice?**
A: Unless you need to be breaking rocks, like quarrying, the Burpee Pick is probably plenty. If you are planning to park the kids a few feet away while you do overhead swings to bust rocks, then go up to the 25-inch geo/paleo pick.

**Q: Anybody know where I can order a sheath?**
A: I made my own, go to a craft store - leather rivets / leather.  It looks very similar to the Geology hammer sheath that Estwing sells or you can get standard hammer loop ( the point and cutting head will not be covered) Good luck!!!

I have always expected and received the highest quality from ESTWING products. I am a 60 year old female and this is not heavy for me and does the job! I would think if one needs to use two hands for any reason, there is room enough for that but this is a great size for one hand. Grip is fantastic. It might be dumb or not a consideration but this product is a good looking tool. I like tools that have the combination of appearance and ability.
